Here's my second handwritten LJ entry, and the first written with my new tablet :P
And yesterday i got to do stuff with [info]lissywizzy! I had asked her to the movies and she suggested we'd go to the "filmmuseum" in the Vondelpark, because she got free tickets from her introduction to uni. The movie we decided on was "a canterbury tale" which is about 3 people just after the last world war who're on a pilgrimage.

So yesterday we met at where she had her lectures (at the Oudmanhuispoort) and we went down to the basement to study for a bit because she needed to do this and me too actually so we did that. :P

After that we went to where she has her other classes (in the Spuistraat) which is very near the place where i get my Japanese courses (Nieuwezijdsvoorburgwal).. :), I had asked her to go there actually because i wanted to see her uni :P as i have been looking for it just before i had my first japanese class.

So after that we went for dinner, we ended up in this mexican restaurant near Leidseplein and it was quite good. However.. we should've gone earlier because the movie we watned to see at the filmmuseum would start half an hour after we arrived at the restaurant, which of course, is far too little time for a restaurant dinner :P.

So obviously we missed the movie.. and the other movies at the filmmuseum were all about nymphomanic sm loving prostitutes (seriously), so that's why we decided to go to a regular movie. And as we were near leidseplein we first headed off to "the City" but it was closed which i didn't know :P so then we walked the way back where we came from and ended up at "the munt" where we went to see Hairspray which actually is quite funny :P i'm not that much of a musical guy but i really liked that one.

When we got back it was 12 o' clock in the night, i had expected to be back at 9 or 10 PM but it was fun! so that's ok :) my mom and i brought liss home by car and i got to drive back! :P i really wanted to drive myself.. because i didn't have any driving lessons this week.. and when i told my mom when i wanted to drive back when we were in the car she immediately pulled over and told me to switch :S that was pretty cool :P :)

i saw transformers today. and i thought it was pretty cool, but i guess that's a guy thing because the film was basically a sequence of loud explosions and "car" chases. It was really cool to see how they did the robots though, which is nothing like the way they were in the cartoons, i was pretty happy i saw it :)

and after that i went to walk around Amsterdam a bit more to find out where i could get calligraphy stuff and it turns out there are quite a few places where it's possible to get specialist Asian calligraphy supplies.

oh and i filled in my re-enrollment form for the uni, which required me to place 2 crosses in the correct square and write the date and place and my autograph twice. *performs an intensely invigorating dance*

yesterday i went to see a movie! with [info]lissywizzy!! :P we wento to "night at the museum" i suggested it because we both have actually been in the museum.. i thought it looked different from the real museum though.. but there were some things inside the museum that i have seen in there..

and the scenes in front of the museum have been taken in front of it, there was this shot of the front façade with the word knowlegde.. and i think i actually stood on the same place as the camera person who made that shot when i took a picture of it.. :P :) that was pretty cool. And there were also all these shots made inside central park at places where i have walked :)

anyway, the story of the movie was okay. there were a fair amount of jokes in it :P and they were funny too, especially the T-Rex/doggie who wants to play fetch all the time.

after the movie we went home, because liss had to cook for her sis and herself. When we walked over dam square we saw this american/australian bloke who was trying to form a crowd for his show in the drizzle.. all we saw was him blabbing on about his crowd forming skills and his whip whipping, so then we moved on as the drizzle became more than just a drizzle..

eventually we got onto the bus to Uithoorn where liss had to wait half an hour for her bus to come so i stayed there with her.. went inside the family (is a cafeteria) to order myself some dinner to take home with me because i actually had to cook for myself, but i didn't feel like it.


today and tomorrow my mom is going to celebrate her birthday.. and today i got sick.. i felt it coming to days ago.. and yesterday it wasn't so bad.. but now i feel miserable.. :S urgh.. i want to go to TBFKAGNK later this evening but i don't know... *cusses*

movies tribals and pool! Jan. 29th, 2007 @ 10:25 pm
last saturday i played some pool with [info]_panopticon_ , and we tried this game called rotation which was quite fun. As we usually play 8-ball and 9-ball and i got a bit tired of that. We did do some 8-ball though, and we played for 3 hours straight so that was pretty cool too :P.

On sunday i went to the movies with [info]lissywizzy and [info]anne789 and 3 others to see Eragon which has pretty cool special effects and i saw this trailer of Night at the Museum which i'd really like to see, as i've been in that museum :). I've got some pictures of the outside and inside of it somewhere here.. (they're actually on the first 2 pages of the gallery, they aren't very good though). Anyway, after Eragon we went back to Uithoorn where we went to Pappagallo which is a pizzeria where we'd meet up with 2 others who didn't come along to Eragon. After that we went to the busstop to wait for the bus liss and anne had to take to get back home, during which the others except for me and anne's BF left. And when the bus arrived we said goodbye to Anne and Liss as well, and me and Joël, who's Anne's BF, took off too. And after we had said goodbye I regretted that i did not bring my bike along as it's a pretty long and cold walk from there to my house :S.
